Full Version Available for Free!

Announcing the following special offer!  If you write a few paragraphs about Stellar Forces on a public website, e.g. blog or review site, then I will fully refund your payment for the full version of Stellar Forces.

All you need to do is send me the link to the website page, and I'll refund the full cost. It should be a proper website and at least a couple of paragraphs (i.e. not just the word 'Stellar Forces'). This offer is extended not only for new players, but anyone who's ever bought the full version at any time in history.

The age of the site, content (as long as its not illegal), popularity, traffic aren't a problem. It can be a brand new site, though it should be permanent (as much as anything can be permanent on the web) with a proper domain name.  Obviously a Google Play review or a Tweet doesn't count, though is very much appreciated!

Amazing New Feature! Building Structures

The new mission 'Colonization' brings a whole new aspect to Stellar Forces: resource gathering and building structures.

There are currently 5 structures that can be built by "engineer" units:-

* Clone generator
* Gun vending machine
* Grenade vending machine
* Medi-bay
* Wall

Each of these costs a certain amount of Resource Points, and these points are  acquired by dismantling existing walls.  This makes the strategy of the game very different to the other missions - how long do you keep building and churning out clones before you decide to attack?  Will your opponents attack you first?  And how far dare you venture out to acquire more resource points, risking the lives of your engineers?

Here's a base I prepared earlier:-

More information here.

New Gameplay Video

Tollmineitor kindly created this new gameplay video.  It's a bit jerky, but goes through from the very beginning through a complete mission.

New Zombie Graphics

After giving players enough time to upgrade to the latest version that can handle them, I've finally "activated" the new Zombie graphics for the Reanimator mission in Stellar Forces.

This is still my current favourite mission, as either side.  As the zombies it's great when you find a puny human cowering in the corner of a room.  As the Research Monitors, the tension as you wait to see how long you can hide from the brain-eating zombies is unbearable!

Stellar Forces now has an AI!

It's available in The Assassins and Moonbase Assault missions.  It's not very intelligent, but it gives new players something to shoot at.

New Missions

Yes, even more new missions!

Every game these days should have a 'zombie' theme, and Stellar Forces is now exception, except that I've called them cadavers to try and be different.

The mission is called Reanimator: a team of Research Monitors have discovered illegal experiments being carried out.  They need to survive long enough to be rescued so they can report their findings, but the zombies have other idea.

It uses the Moonbase Assault map, and in this mission the zombies come back to life a few turns after being killed.  It's a very tense game.

The next mission is along the same theme, except this time it's clones!

The mission is called Clone Wars (ahem).  The attackers must destroy the computers in the illegal cloning facility.  However, the clone machines have been put on overdrive and are creating a new clone every turn.  The attackers must be quick before they are overrun with hordes of identical enemies.

New Graphics

It's been a while since I posted anything (again).  I've been working on adding lots of new scenery to Stellar Forces, as I think it makes a big difference to how the game is perceived.

I'm slowly adding more and more items, so I can add different ones to each map and so each map doesn't look exactly the same.
